I grew up in a very small rural northeastern Montana town. After earning degrees in business administration and counseling/human development, I spent many years working in student leadership and student union management at colleges across Kansas, Idaho, Washington, and Wyoming.
When my university re-organized me out of a job after 16 years, I transitioned into a similar role at a YMCA. Two years later, I was downsized again. I took a position as an associate at a commercial paint store while I continued searching for my new career.
Then … I discovered The Entrepreneur’s Source! It was the perfect fit – combining my skills, values/philosophies, and experiences with a desire to help others along their life path. Today, I’m a Career Ownership Coach, guiding people like you to find careers that align with their values and goals.
Outside of work, I’m an adventurer at heart – I love nature and the outdoors, photography, good tunes, and travel, with a special fondness for my solo month-long “walk-about” in Australia.
I’m also a big animal lover, with two very curious cats who keep life interesting. Of course, no life is complete without quality time with family and friends!
Whether it’s helping you define goals and explore career ownership, lending a hand to a stranger, or sharing experiences with friends, I believe in the power of connection, the excitement of exploration and discovery, and the unexpected twists that make life exciting.
If you’re ready to take ownership over your career and learn about new possibilities, let’s connect. Together, we can get you started on your own adventure!
